Abstract
Smart city concept
may become a solution over all of city problems, such as economy, environment,
governance and transportation. Smart city concept will support space management
system that has been implemented these days. Related to disaster, a problem emerged will also
give impact to economic, environment and city’s infrastructure. Natural
disaster management is considered important as a part in smart city concept.
This research will
explain collaboration scheme in mitigating disasters in KARTAMANTUL region, as
a goal towards Smart City. The methods are qualitative and case study in
Yogyakarta, Sleman, and Bantul Region known as KARTAMANTUL. This research tries
to explore facts, including disaster management policies that are potentially
increasing quality in public service and infrastructure management towards
Smart city.
